Casa Mariola is an authentic rural house located in Sornàs (Ordino, Andorra), with a history dating back to 1860. Originally belonging to one of the village’s most emblematic families, it takes its name from Mariola, the young woman who founded a new branch of the family and left her mark forever on this traditional Pyrenean home.
Carefully restored while preserving its original character, Casa Mariola retains all the charm of traditional mountain architecture and the heritage of a small village full of history. Just a short walk away you’ll find the 18th-century Church of Sant Roc, charming cobbled streets and the old communal washhouse, all reminders of Sornàs’ rich past.
Today, Casa Mariola combines tradition, nature and modern comfort to offer a unique stay in one of Andorra’s most charming locations.

Casa Mariola and La Era are two independent rural accommodations located in the heart of Sornàs (Ordino), ideal for enjoying the Andorran Pyrenees all year round. Each property has its own private entrance and every comfort you need for a relaxing stay. They can also be connected internally, making them the perfect choice for large families or groups of up to 9 guests.
Casa Mariola is a traditional three-storey Pyrenean house built with thick stone walls and wooden ceilings that preserve the authentic character of mountain architecture. It features a fully equipped kitchen and dining area, a cosy living room with fireplace, a full bathroom, free Wi-Fi and two bedrooms sleeping up to five guests.
La Era occupies the former hay barn of the property, beautifully restored while preserving its original structure. Built with the same stone and solid wood that once sheltered grain and livestock, this cosy three-level house includes a cellar, the main living floor and a loft, creating a warm and intimate atmosphere perfect for relaxing, unwinding and enjoying peaceful evenings by the fire.
Thanks to an internal connecting door, both properties can be rented together to accommodate up to 9 guests while still maintaining the privacy of each home. Located in the parish of Ordino, just a few minutes from the ski resorts of Ordino Arcalís and Pal Arinsal, Casa Mariola and La Era are the perfect base for discovering the mountains, nature and authentic charm of the Andorran Pyrenees.
